Research project on the benefits of OSH

Prevent conducted a two-year study into the costs and benefits of work safety and health.

The study was entitled benOSH: Benefits of Occupational Safety and Health. It was carried out on behalf of the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities. The project partner was the German organisation KOOP.

During the project (2009-2010), case studies were performed in various companies, to work out the costs of work accidents and cases of work-related diseases and accidents.
